AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING
TITLE 11 CHAPTER 1.05, SECTION 1.05.080 OF
THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO DIS-
CRIMINATION.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 1, Chapter 1.05, Section 1.05.080 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the same is hereby, amended to
read as follows:
"SECTION 1.05.080 DISCRIMINATION
There shall be no discrimination against any
person seeking employment or against any em-
ployee in the classified service because of
any considerations of race, color, national
origin, religious or political affiliation
or belief, membership in or attitude toward
any employee organization, sex, age, or physi-
cal disability, except where sex, or age, or
lack of physical disability is a bona fide
occupational qualification."
SECTION 2.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, rinted, published and cir-
culated in said City, and thirty (k0 days from and after its
final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and sighled by me
this 20th day of April , 1976.
