3390ORDINANCE NO. 3390 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM REPEALING CERTAIN SUBSECTIONS OF TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE AND AMENDING TITLES OF CERTAIN SECTIONS OF TITLE 18, AND ADDING NEW SUBSECTIONS RELATING TO VEHICLE PARKING A;D LOADING REQUIREI,1ENTS IN ZONING. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the following subsections of Title 18 be, and the same are hereby repealed: 18.06.060.011, 18.21.066.010, 18.21.066.030, 18.22.066.010, 18.23.066.010, 18.24.066.010, 18.25.066.010, 18.26.066.010 and 18.27.066.010. SECTION 2. That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto the following subsections to read as follows: 18.06.060.011 - Single-family Dwellings: .0111 - Detached Dwellings: A total of not less than five (5) parking spaces shall be provided for any one -family dwelling, not less than two (2) of which shall be provided in an on-site garage. Any on- site open, unenclosed parking spaces permitted may be tandem to enclosed, covered or other open parking spaces. Provided further, that any off-site parking space(s) shall be located not more than two hundred (200) feet from the dwelling it is intended to serve. .0112 - Attached or Semi -attached Dwellings: For any attached or semi -attached one - family dwelling including_ but not limited to condominiums, community apartments, stock cooperatives, town- houses, rowhouses or other forms of clustered one -family dwellings, there shall be provided a total of not less than two and one-half (2.5) parking spaces per dwelling unit, not less than two (2) of which shall be enclosed in a garage. -1- 18.21.066.010 - Minimum Number and Type of Parking Spaces. A total of not less than five (5) parking spaces shall be provided for any detached one -family dwelling as follows: .011 - Not less than two (2) parking spaces shall be provided on-site enclosed in a garage. .012 - Any open, unenclosed parking spaces permit- ted on-site may be tandem to other parking spaces. .013 - Any off-site parking spaces permitted shall be located not more than two hundred (200) feet of, and shall be readily accessible to, the dwelling such space(s) are intended to serve. 18.22.066.010 - Minimum number and Type of Parking Spaces. A total of not less than five (5) parking spaces shall be provided for any detached one -family dwelling as follows: .011 - Not less than two (2) parking spaces shall be provided on-site enclosed in a garage. .012 - Any open, unenclosed parking spaces permit- ted on-site may be tandem to other parking spaces. .013 - Any off-site parking spaces permitted shall be located not more than two hundred (200) feet of, and shall be readily accessible to, the dwelling such space(s) are intended to serve. 18.23.066.010 - Minimum Number and Type of Parking Spaces. SECTION 3. SEVERABILITY. The City Council of the City of Anaheim hereby declares that should any section, paragraph, sentence cr word of this chapter of the Code hereby adopted be declared for any reason to be invalid, it is the intent of the Council that it would have passed all other portions of this chapter indepen- dent of the elimination herefrom of any such portion as may be declared invalid. SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin, a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and cir- culated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force. this 14th ATTEST: THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by me day of January , 1975 J# n CITY.
