desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of GLENN P. FRY and
R. ALYSON FRY, husband and wife.
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
RESOLUTION NO. 63R -423
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASE-
MENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES.
An easement for road and public utility purposes
over, under and across the Southerly 30.00 feet
(as measured at right angles to the center line
of Santa Ana Street) of that portion of the
Easterly 101.2 feet of Lot Eight (8) of Anaheim
Extension, as shown on a Map of Survey made by
William Hamel dated December 11, 1868, Records
of Los Angeles County, California, described as
follows:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of said Lot
Eight (8); thence Northerly along the Easterly
line of East Street 25 rods; thence at right
angles Easterly and parallel with Santa Ana
Street 211.2 feet; thence at right angles South-
erly and parallel with East Street 25 rods, to
the center of Santa Ana Street; thence Westerly
211.2 feet to the point of beginning;
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
