A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM SETTING IN ABEYANCE THE EFFECTIVE
DATES OF THE PROVISIONS OF RESOLUTIONS
NOS. 63R -266, 63R -267 AND 63R -306.

WHEREAS, in connection with the acquisition of a
portion of the Dyke Water Company, Resolutions Nos. 63R -266,
63R -267 and 63R -306 were adopted, by the City Council to
establish the new rates to be charged consumers on the portion
of the Dyke Water Company System to be acquired by the City of
Anaheim and to establish uniform rates to be charged consumers
outside the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, an Order of the Public Utilities Commission
has delayed the final acquisition of said portion of the Dyke
Water Company System by the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, it is impractical to establish new rates out-
side the City of Anaheim until such new rates can be established
uniformly in connection with the acquisition of the portion of
the Dyke Water Company System.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Resolutions Nos.
63R-266, 63R -167 and 63R -306 are hereby declared to be held in
abeyance, and the effective dates of said Resolutions and the
interpreting provisions as contained in Resolution No. 63R -306
shall become effective only upon the final acquisition of the
Dyke Water Company facilities.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Resolutions governing
the rates to be charged for water from the Anaheim Water System
prior to any amendment by reason of Resolutions Nos. 63R -266,
63R -267 and 63R -306 shall remain in full force and effect until
such time as the portion of the Dyke Water Company System now
under eminent domain proceedings has been acquired and physically
controlled by the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 7th day of May 1963.
