A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT FOR
PUBLIC HIGHWAY PURPOSES UPON AND ACROSS
CERTAIN PROPERTY OF LOS ANGELES SALT LAKE
RAILROAD COMPANY AND ITS LESSEE, UNION
PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY, AND APPROVING
AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREE-
MENT GRANTING SAID EASEMENT.
WHEREAS, the Los Angeles Salt Lake Railroad Com-
pany and its Lessee, Union Pacific Railroad Company, Utah
corporations, have tendered to the City of Anaheim an agree-
ment, granting to the City, subject to the reservations,
covenants and conditions therein contained, an easement
for the construction, operation and maintenance of a public
highway upon and across that portion of the right of way
of said Railroad Companies more particularly hereinafter
described; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that said agree-
ment submitted to the City by said Railroad Companies to
be made and entered into between the City and the Los
Angeles Salt Lake Railroad Company and its Lessee, Union
Pacific Railroad, would be for the benefit and best interest
of the City and should be approved and accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the agreement tendered to the
City of Anaheim by the Los Angeles Salt Lake Railroad Com-
pany and its Lessee, Union Pacific Railroad Company, Utah
corporations, granting to the City,subject to the reserva-
tions, covenants and conditions therein contained, an ease-
ment for the construction, operation and maintenance of a
public highway upon and across that portion of the right
of way of said Railroad Companies more particularly described
as follows:
Those two certain parcels of land, situate
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, more particularly des-
cribed as follows:
PARCEL NO. 1:
That portion of that certain parcel of land
described in deed to Los Angeles Salt Lake
Railroad Company, recorded April 14, 1922,
in Certificate of Title No. 2200, Registrar
of Titles, Orange County, lying southerly of
a line parallel with and 53.00 feet northerly,
measured at right angles from the north line
of Section 3, Township 4 South, Range 10 West,
S. B. B. M.
PARCEL NO. 2:
That portion of that certain parcel of land,
described in deed to Los Angeles Salt Lake
Railroad Company, recorded March 15, 1922,
Certificate of Title No. 2183, Registrar of
Titles, Orange County, lying northerly of a
line, parallel with and 53.00 feet southerly,

be, and the same is hereby, approved and accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City
Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized to execute said
agreement for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
