A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
public utility purposes; and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
finds that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City
of Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of GEORGE A. MICHEL and
DIMPLE MICHEL, husband and wife, as joint tenants, an undivided
one -third interest; and RICHARD HOMER WAGNER and ELIZABETH K.
WAGNER, husband and wife, as joint tenants, an undivided two
thirds interest, to sell to the City of Anaheim the following
described real property situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, to be used for an ease-
ment for road and public utility purposes, and more particularly
described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across a strip of land 60 feet in width lying
within a portion of Lots 4 and 5 of Tract No. 71, as
shown on a Map recorded in Book 10, page 22 of Miscel-
laneous Maps, records of Orange County, California, the
Northerly line of said 60 foot strip also being the
center line of Katella Avenue, being described as
follows:
Commencing at the Northeast corner of the land conveyed
to Kayco Corporation by deed recorded December 20, 1962
in Book 6367, page 591 of Official Records; thence North-
easterly along the center line of Katella Avenue, along
the arc of a curve concave Northwesterly and having a
radius of 1000.00 feet from a tangent which bears North
70 38' 28" East through a central angle of 21 44' 49"
a distance of 379.56 feet; thence tangent to said curve,
North 48 53' 39" East 126.74 feet to a point in the
East line of the land conveyed to Maurice E. Bivens by
deed recorded June 17, 1927 in Book 62, page 45 of said
Official Records, said point being 868.44 feet North of
the South line of said land conveyed to Bivens.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
