63-0321WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for municipal purposes, to wit An easement for road and public utility purposes and WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered to sell and convey the same to the C ti y; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim to ac- cept said offer and purchase said real property. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the offer of ANAHEIM SCHOOL DISTRICT OF ORANGE COUNTY CALIFORNIA, to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Oratge State of California, to be used for an easement for road and public utility purposes and more particularly described as follows: An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under and across that portion of the East half of the Northwest quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section 16, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, being a portion of Lot 6, Helen and Lynch's Addition to Anaheim, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 442, Page 158 of Deeds, records of Los Angeles County, California, described as follows: Beginning at the center line intersection of Broadway and the road adjoining said Lot 6 on the east, commonly known as Loara Street; thence West along the center line of Broadway, 279 feet; thence North, parallel to the center line of said Loara Street, 34 feet; thence East, parallel to said Broadway center line, 233.77 feet, more or less, to the beginning of a tangent curve, concave north- westerly and having a radius of 15 feet; thence Northeasterly along said curve, through a central angle of 88 30' 01 an arc distance of 23.17 feet to a point on a line parallel with and distant west 32 feet from said Loara Street center line; thence East, parallel to said center line of Broadway, 32 feet to a point on said center line of Loara Street; thence South along said last- mentioned center line, 47.79 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance of said property. RESOLUTION NO. 63R -321 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
