A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASE-
MENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipL1 purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property ha s offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of THE PACIFIC TELEPHONE
AND TELEGRAPH COMPANY, a corporation organized under the laws
of the State of California,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over., under
and across those parcels of land described as follows:
PARCEL ONE:
The Northerly 45.00 feet (as measured at right angles to the
center line of Orange Avenue) of the East 180 feet of the
Northeast quarter of the Southeast quarter of Section 15,
Township 4 South, Range 11 West, in the Rancho Los Coyotes,
as shown on a Map recorded in Book 51, page 11 of Miscel-
laneous Maps, records of Orange County, California.
PARCEL TWO:
Beginning at a point 50.00 feet Westerly and 45.00 feet South-
erly from the Northeast corner of the Northeast quarter of
the Southeast quarter of Section 15; thence Westerly along
a line parallel with and 45.00 feet Southerly of the North
line of the Northeast quarter of the Southeast quarter of
said Section 15 a distance of 15.00 feet; thence South-
easterly in a direct line to the point of intersection with
a line parallel with and 50.00 feet Westerly and 50.00 feet
Southerly of the Northeast corner of the Northeast quarter
of the Southeast quarter of said Section 15; thence North-
erly along the last mentioned parallel line to the point
of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
