63-0227WHEREAS, all sales taxes upon sales within the City
of Anaheim are made and reported to the State Board of Equali-
zation of the State of California and, the amount thereof
distributed to the City of Anaheim, less the cost of collection;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of ,'naheim does
find and deterwine that it would be to the advantae and for the
best interest of the City of Anaheim to review and audit the
sales tax records of the State Board of Equalization relatin,;-
to sales within the City of Anaheim for the year 1962; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find that Dou6las K. 0,
Director of Finance,and John Woodscre, Accountin Officer of the
Finance Department of the City of Anaheim, are proper persons to be
authorized to make such review and audit.
NOW, THEREFO2NE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of neheim that Douslos K. Ogden, Director of Finance, and
John Woodstra, Accountin3 Officer of the Finance Department of the
City of Anaheim,be, and either of them is hereby authorized and
directed to review and audit the City of Anaheim Sales Tax Records
of the State Board of Equalization to determine the accuracy there-
of relatin3 to moneys distributed by the State Board of Cqualiza-
tion to the City of Anaheim for the calendar year 1962.
BE IT FUaTHEa that the said Douglas K. Ogden
end/or John Woodscra be, and they are hereby, authorized to proceed
to Staramento for said purpose and that their travel and subsistence
expenses be pa as a City cher_e.
