A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASE-
MENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
Public utility purposes
and
EXCEPT the North 300.00 feet thereof.
ALSO EXCEPT the West 101.00 feet thereof.
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of WILLIAM P. BREGDER and
EMMA S. BREGDER, husband and wife,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across the Southerly 60.00 feet (as measured
at right angles to the center line of Katella Avenue) of
the East half of those portions of Lots 7 and 8 in Block
17 of a Subdivision of the South half of Section 21, Town-
ship 4 South, Range 10 West, S. B. B. M., being a part
of the Fairview Colony Tract, as shown on a Map recorded
in Book 1, page 33 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of
Orange County, California, described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the South line of said Lot 7,
South 89 51' 10" East 460.40 feet from the Southwest cor-
ner of said lot, said point being the Southeast corner of
the land conveyed to Robert H. Hudson and Carrie B. Hudson,
husband and wife, by deed recorded October 27, 1950 in Book
2094, page 16 of Official Records; thence North 0 33' 10"
East 668.87 feet along the East line of said land to the
North line of said Lot 7; thence South 89 43' 50" East 202.00
feet along the North line of said lots; thence South 0 33'
10" West 668.17 feet to the South line of said Lot 8; thence
North 89 51' 10" West 202.00 feet to the point of beginning.
For the purpose of this description, the Southerly lines of
said Lots 7 and 8 are assumed to be the center line of
Katella Avenue.

organized under the laws of the State of California,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
public utility purposes
and more particularly described as fo lows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes aver,
under and across a strip of land 60 feet in width
lying within a portion of Lot 5, Tract No. 71, as shown
on a Map recorded in Book 10, page 22 of Miscellaneous
Maps, records of Orange County, California, the South-
erly line of said 60 foot strip also being the center
line of Katella Avenue, being described as follows:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of Fractional Section
24, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho San
Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, as shown on a Map recorded in
Book 51, page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange
County, California; thence South 89 45' 20" East 416.35
feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave North-
westerly having a radius of 1000.00 feet; thence North-
easterly along said curve through a central angle of 41
06' 25" a distance of 717.45 feet to a tangent line;
thence North 49 08' 15" East to the Southwesterly line
of the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Company
right of way.
The Northerly line of said easement being shortened or
lengthened as the case may be to coincide with the West-
erly line of the Rancho Santiago de Santa Ana, and the
Southwesterly line of said Atchison, Topeka and Santa
Fe Railway Company right of way.

be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept at convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 6th d of August 1963
