A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASE-
MENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and

WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of ELMER A. PRESTON and
GRACE PEARL PRESTON, husband and wife,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across the Easterly 45.00 feet (as measured
at right angles to the center line of Harbor Boulevard)
of the North 100 feet of the South 352 feet of that
portion of Lot 6 of the Miles Rancho as shown on a Map
recorded in Book 4, page 7 of Miscellaneous Maps,
records of Orange County, California, described as
follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the West line of Harbor
Boulevard (formerly Spadra Road) as said road existed
April 29, 1929, with the center line of Romneya Drive;
running thence Northerly along the West line of Harbor
Boulevard, 712 feet; thence Westerly, parallel with
the North line of said Lot 6, 150 feet; thence Southerly,
along a line parallel with the West line of Harbor Boule-
vard, 712 feet, more or less, to the center line of
Romneya Drive; thence Easterly 150 feet to the point of
beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
