RESOLUTION NO. 63R- 543
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES,
INCLUDING A SANITARY SEWER EASEMENT AND A
TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION EASEMENT.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for public utility
purposes, including a sanitary sewer easement and a temporary
construction easement; and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered to
convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of S. MARSHALL YOUNGMAN, as
Trustee, to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described
real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for public
utility purposes, including a sanitary sewer easement and a
temporary construction easement, and more particularly described
as follows:
PARCEL ONE: An easement for public utility purposes
including a sanitary sewer easement over, under and
across a strip of land 15.00 feet in width lying
within that parcel of land conveyed to S. Marshall
Youngman, as Trustee, by Deed recorded August 15,
1960 in Book 5374, page 333 of Official Records of
Orange County, California, the center line of said
strip being described as follows:
Commencing at the Southwest corner of Lot Eight (8)
of Mrs. Bush's Subdivision, of a portion of Bush
Tract, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 36, page
52 of Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County,
California; thence North 0 10' West along the West-
erly line of said Lot Eight (8) and the Northerly
prolongation thereof, a distance of 1932.63 feet to
the True Point of Beginning; thence South 80 41' 11"
East 65.06 feet; thence South 74 43' 25" East
224.00 feet, more or less, to the intersection with
the Northerly prolongation of the Easterly line of
said Lot Eight (8).
The North and South line of said 15.00 foot strip to
be lengthened or shortened as the case may be to
coincide with the East and West lines of the above
described parcel of land conveyed to S. Marshall
Youngman, as Trustee.

PARCEL TWO: A temporary construction easement over
and across a strip of land 10.00 feet in width, the
Northerly line of said 10.00 foot strip being the
Southerly line of the above described Parcel One.
Said temporary easement to expire upon completion
of the installation of a sewer main but not later
than May 1, 1964;
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance
of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of
Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 25th day of June 19 63
