A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM DENYING CONDITIONAL USE
PERMIT NO. 410
WHEREAS, the City P1,?nning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did receive a request for a Conditional Use Permit from
DUDLEY B. FRANK, 433 West Lincoln Avenue, Anaheim, California,
for a Conditional Use Permit to construct a service station on
the following described property situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, to wit:
That portion of the Northeast quarter of the Southeast
quarter of Section 17, Township 4 South, Range 10 West,
as shown on a Map recorded in Book 51, page 10 of Mis-
cellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California,
described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the center lines of
Orange Avenue and Euclid Avenue, as shown on a Map of
Tract No. 3672, recorded in Book 129, page 5 of Mis-
cellaneous Maps records of Orange County, California;
thence South 89° 33' 00" West along the center line of
said Orange Avenue a distance of 163.00 feet; thence
South 0 04' 30" West parallel with the center line of
said Euclid Avenue a distance of 162.00 feet; thence
North 89 33' 00" East 163.00 feet parallel with the
center line of said Orange Avenue to the center line
of said Euclid Avenue; thence North 0° 04' 30" East
162.00 feet to the point of beginning.
Excepting therefrom the Easterly 30.00 feet.
Also excepting therefrom the Northerly 15.00 feet.
AND WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a
public hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim upon
said request on April 29. 1963 notices of which
said public hearing were duly given as required by law and the
provisions of Title 18, Chapter 18.76 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code; and
WHEREAS, said Commission, after due inspection, in-
vestigation and studies made by itself and in its behalf and
after due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at
said hearing, did adopt its Resolution No. 743 Serifs 1962
denying Conditional Use Permit No. 41Q
and
WHEREAS, thereafter, within twenty -two (22) days from
the date of the adoption of said resolution, a written appeal
was filed with the City Council protesting the action of the
City Planning Commission in denying said Conditional
Use Permit and said appeal was set for public hearing on

June 11 19 63 at the City Hall, in the City
of Anaheim, and notices of such public hearing were duly given
as required by law and the provisions of Title 18, Chapter
18.76 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such
hearing and did give all persons interested therein an oppor-
tunity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find, after careful
consideration of the recommendations of the City Planning
Commission and all evidence and reports offered at said hear-
ing, that Conditional Use Permit No. 410 should be denied.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the action of the City Planning Com-
mission denying Conditional Use Permit No. 410 be,
and the same is hereby sustained and that the request of
DUDLEY B. FRANK for a Conditional Use Permit to permit the con-
struction of a service station on the property hereinbefore
described, be, and the same is hereby denied.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me

AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of
