A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING CONSENT OF1HE OWNER OF
A CERTAIN RIGHT OF WAY EASEMENT TO THE RECORD
OWNER'S GRANTING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AN
EASEMENT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF AN ELECTRIC
POLE LINE WITHIN SAID RIGHT OF WAY EASEMENT.
WHEREAS, The Metropolitan Water District of Southern
California is the owner of a certain right of way easement
acquired for the construction of the East Orange County Feeder
No. 2 pipe line; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim proposes to construct
an electric pole line within The Metropolitan Water District's
right of way easement, in, over and across the Easterly 5 feet
of Lot 9, the Westerly 5 feet of Lot 15, and the Easterly 5 feet
of Lot 27 of Tract No. 4644, as shown on a map recorded in Book
168, Page 44, of Miscellaneous Maps in the Office of the County
Recorder of Orange County, and has acquired an easement for con-
struction of said electric pole line from the record owner of
said parcels of land; and
WHEREAS, The Metropolitan Water District has consented
to the construction of said electric pole line within its right
of way easement subject to certain terms and conditions, and has
tendered to the City of Anaheim a form of Consent to be accepted
by the City setting forth said terms and conditions; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it would be for
the benefit and best interest of the City to accept said Consent.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the Consent of The Metropolitan Water
District of Southern California, this day tendered to the City
Council, to the record owner's grant of easement to the City for
construction of said electric pole line over and across the
above designated parcels of land, be and the same is hereby
accepted, subject to the terms and conditions therein contained.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 28th day of May 1963.
