A RESOLUTION Of THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAH-SIM AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE AND ACQUI-
SITION OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR PUBLIC
PURPOSeS.

WHEREAS, F. L. Lip~ is the owner of the hereinafter
described real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California; and
WHER~S, said owner has offered to sell said property
to the City of Anaheim for the sum of Sixteen Thousand Nine
Hundred Sixty Dollars ($16,960) cash, lawful money of the United
States; and
WHER2AS, the City Council does find and determine that
public convenience and necessity require the purchase and acqui-
sition of said parcel of real property for public purposes, and
that the price which the owner thereof is willing to accept is
reasonable and not out of proportion to the fair market value
of said property,
NOW, TH1;;REFORE, BiS IT RESOLVED by the City Counc i 1 of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of F. L, Lipp to sell all
that certain real property situaL:d in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows,
to wit:
The East half of the cast 20 acres of the North-
west quarter of the Southwest quarter of Section
7, Township LI South, Range 10 West, S .B.B. & M.;
::XCEPTING THEREFROM the Northerly 766 feet.
for the sum of $16,960 cash, lawful money of the United States,
be, and the same is hereby accepted, and that the deed tendered
by said O\\ffier be accepted subject to the following terms and
conditions:
That subject property shall be conveyed to the City
of Anaheim free and clear of all encumbrances, EX-
CEPT the second half of the general and special
taxes for the fiscal year 1957-58, and taxes which
are not yet due, including special district levies,
payment of which is included therein and collected
therewith; and all covenants, conditions, restric-
tions, reservations, rights, rights of way and
easements of record.
AN) BE IT FURTHER RSSOLVED that the City Administrator
of the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized for and
on behalf of the City of Anaheim to sign escrow instructions for
the purchase of said real property, and to enter into an escrow
with the owner Gf said pr~perty at Home Savings & Loan Associa-
tion, 211 East Center Street, Anaheim, California;

and she is hereby, authorized and directed to pay into escrow at
Home Savings & L:)an Associ ation, Anaheim Branch, the sum of Sixteen
Thousand Nine Hundred Sixty Oollars ($16,960) cash, lawful money
of the United States, to be paid to F. L. Lipp when a deed
