RESOLUTION NO. 4222
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM DENYING WITHOUT PREJUDICE APPLIC~
TION NO. F-57-58-l7 FOR A CHANGE OF ZONE I~ A
CERTAIN AREA OF THE CITY HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Comission Qf the City of
Anaheim has heretofore duly passed and adopted a resolution reoom-
mending deni~without prejudice, of a change in the boundaries Of
the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and described, atter having
fixed a time and place for the holding of a pUblic hearing thereon
in the manner and as presoribed in Article IX, Chapter 2 of the
Anaheim Municipal COde, and after having duly held and oonduoted
such public hearing to consider said proposed change of zone or
zones, and after having received evidence and reports from persons
interested therein; and
WHEREAS, within a period of forty (40) days following
the hearing thereon, the Planning Commission did duly announoe by
formal resolution its findings of faots and declare its opinions
and reasons for recommending a denial of said proposed change in
the boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and
desoribed; and
WHEREAS, upon reoeipt of the report and recommendation of
the Oity Planning Commission, the City Council did thereupon fix
the 19th day of November, 1957 as the time and the Council Chamber
in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the plaoe for a public
hearing upon said proposed change of zone and did give notice
thereof in the manner and as provided in said Artiole IX, Chapter 2
of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said publio
hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such publio
hearing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity
to be heard and did receive evidence and reports and did thereupon
consider the recommendation of the City Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
the property and area proposed to be changed from the zone in whioh
it is now situated to a different zone, as hereinafter set forth,
is more suitable for the zone in which it is now incorporated and
that a change of zone should not be granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
Oity of Anaheim that all of the property and area situated in the
City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of Oalifornia, described
as follows, to wit:

The Easterly 200.00 feet of the Northerly
217.80 feet of the West 16.58 aores of the
Northwest quarter of the Southwest quarter
of Seotion 7, Township 4 South, Range 10
West, S.B.B. & M.
remain in the R.-A, RESIDENTIAL-AGRICULTURAL ZONE in which l'1i is now
incorporated, and that the reolassifioation to R-3, MULTIPLE-FAMILY
RESIDENTIAL ZONE, be denied, without prejudice, as recommended by
the C1ty Planning Commission.
