A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT A CHANGE
OF ZONE IS NECESSARY IN CERTAIN AREAS OF THE CITY,
AND THAT ARTICLE IX, CHAPTER 2 OF THE ANAHEIM
MUNICIPAL CODE SHOULD BE AMENDED TO ACCOMPLISH
SAID CHANGE OF ZONE.

WHER'EAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anl-
helm hal heretofore duly palsed Ind adopted a relolutlon declaring
Its Intention to change the boundaries of the zone or zones herein..
att.r mentioned and delcrlbed and did fix a time and place for the
holding of a public hearing thereon In the manner and as prelcrlbed
In Article IX, Chapter 2 of the Anaheim MUnicipal Code, and did duly
hold and conduct such public hearing to consider slid proposed chlnge
of zone or zones, and did receive evidence and reports trom persons

WHEREAS, within a period of forty (40) days following the
flnll hearing thereon, the Planning Commission did duly announce by
tor..l resolution Its findings of facts and decllre Its oplnlone and
realons for recommending an amendment to Slid Article IX, Chlpter 2
of the Anaheim Municipal Code to effect the proposed ching.. In the
boundaries ot the zone hereinafter mentioned and descrlbedJ Ind
WHEREAS, upon receipt of the report and recommendltlon of
the City Planning Commleslon, the City Council did thereupon fix the

heard and did receive evidence and report., and did thereupon con-
sider the recommendltions ot the City Planning Comml..ionJ and

The West 198 feet of the Northwest quarter of the Northwest
quarter of the Southwest quarter of Section 23, Townsh1p 4
South, Range 10 West, in the Ranoho San Juan Cajon ae Santa

be ohanged from R-A, RESIDENTIAL-AGRICULTURAL ZONE to the following
zones, upon the oonditions hereinafter set forth:
That a 50-foot P-L, PARKING-LANDSCAPING ZONE be
established along South Los Angeles Street; and
That the remainder of subjeot property be reolassi-
fied M-l, LIGHT KANUFACTURING ZONE,
upon the following oonditions:
1. That the owners of subjeot property place of
record standard City of Anaheim M-l Deed Re-
strictions covering that portion of the area
being reclassified M-l, which restrictions shall
inolude a further prOVision that a 5-foot strip
of land along the Freeway frontage be improved
with a oypress hedge or other suitable soreening,
said restrictions to be approved by the City
Attorney.
2. That all engineering requirements of the City of
Anaheim, such as curbs and gutters, sidewalks,
street grading and paving, drainage faoilities
or other pertinent work be complied with as re-
quired by the City Engineer, when subject property
is developed.
3. Said ohange of zone shall not beoome effective
unless within sixty days, or such further time
as the Council may grant, the restrictions herein
required to be imposed upon the property shall
have been executed by the owners of the property,
submitted to the City for approval and filed of
record.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be, and he
is hereby, authorized and direoted to prepare and submit to the
City Council an amendment to Article IX, Chapter 2 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code to amend said Anaheim ~unicipal Code to aocomplish
the objeot herein found and determined to be necessary and proper.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 19th day of November, 1957.
