A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASE-
MENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner,__ of said property ha ve offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of MAX O. EGGERTS and DORIS
EGGERTS husband nd wife. and FRANK W. LLOYD and MARY KAY
us an an wife
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
public utility purposes
and more particularly described as folows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under
and across the Easterly 53.00 feet (as measured at right
angles from the center line of State College Boulevard) of
the following described parcel of land:
That portion of the Southeast quarter of the Southeast quarter
of Section 23, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, S.B.B. M,,
lying and being Northeasterly of the Northeasterly line of the
right of way of the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad
Company, as said right of way is described in the deed recorded
August 19, 1889 in Book 593, page 109 of Deeds, records of Los
Angeles County, California.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM the following:
Commencing at the Northeast corner of the Southeast quarter of
the Southeast quarter of Section 23, Township 4 South, Range
10 West, S.B.B. M.; thence West 80 feet; thence South 35
feet; thence East 80 feet to the Section line; thence North 35
feet to the point of beginning, as conveyed to the Wilminedi
Water Co., by deed recorded February 24, 1916 in Book 272,
page 152 of Deeds, records of said Orange County.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of Gener; 1 Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar 001.00).
