RESOLUTION NO. 63R -676
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT DEED CONVEY-
ING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR EASEMENTS FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: Easements for road and public
utility and public utility purposes; and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered to
convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of R. M. CONKLIN and WINIFRED
M. CONKLIN, husband and wife, to sell to the City of Anaheim the
following described real property situated in the City of
Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, to be used for
easements for road and public utility and public utility pur-
poses, and more particularly described as follows:
PARCEL ONE:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across the Easterly 40.00 feet (as measured
at right angles to the center line of Los Angeles
Street) of that portion of Lot 42 of Anaheim Extension
as shown on a Map made by William Hamel and acknow-
ledged by Alfred Robinson, December 11, 1868, Records
of Los Angeles County, California, described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the center line of North
Los Angeles Street, 492 feet Northerly from a cement
monument at the intersection of the center line of said
North Los Angeles Street and the Southerly line of
Lot 42 of said Anaheim Extension; thence Westerly
224.75 feet parallel with the Southerly line of said
Lot 42; thence Southerly parallel with the center line
of said North Los Angeles Street a distance of 100 feet;
thence Easterly parallel with the Southerly line of said
Lot 42 a distance of 60 feet, more or less, to an inter-
section with the Easterly line of Zeyn Street; thence
Southerly along the Easterly line of Zeyn Street a dis-
tance of 20.00 feet; thence Easterly along a line
parallel with the Southerly line of Lot 42 of said
Anaheim Extension a distance of 284.76 feet, more or
less, to an intersection with the center line of said
North Los Angeles Street; thence Northerly along the
center line of said North Los Angeles Street to the point
of beginning.
PARCEL TWO:
An easement for public utility purposes over, under and
across that portion of Lot 42 of said Anaheim Extension

lying 5 feet on each side of the following
described line:
Commencing at a point in the center line of North
Los Angeles Street distant 492 feet Northerly
from a cement monument at the intersection of the
center line of North Los Angeles Street with the
Southerly line of said Lot 42; thence Westerly
along a line parallel with the Southerly line of
said Lot 42 a distance of 152.25 feet to the true
point of beginning of the line hereinafter des-
cribed; thence Southerly along a line parallel
with the center line of said North Los Angeles
Street a distance of 120 feet to an intersection
with a line parallel with and distant 372.00 feet
Northerly of the Southerly line of said Lot 42,
said point of intersection being the point of
terminus of the line hereinabove described.
The Easterly two feet and the Westerly two feet
of the 10 foot easement above described will be
used for electric power line overhang purposes
only.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owners of said real property, out of General Funds of the City
of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me

August, 1963, by the following vote of the members thereof:

AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of
Anaheim approved and signed said Resolution No. 63R -676 on the
