A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING THE
FINAL MAP SERVICE FEE TN THE FY 2006-
2007 FEE SCHEDULE FOR THE PUBLIC
WORKS DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM ADOPTED BY RESOLUTION 2006-
150.
WHEREAS, it is the policy of the City Council of the City of Anaheim to provide
for the amount of fees to be established by resolution; and
WHEREAS, City Council Resolution 2006-150 established the FY 2006-2007
Fee Schedule for the Public Works Department of the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the Public Works Department of the City of Anaheim has made
improvements to their services, creating a more efficient and streamlined process, thereby
resulting in a reduction in the service fee for final maps; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council to amend said fee at this time; and
WHEREAS, the fee hereinafter amended does not exceed the estimated
reasonable cost of providing the service for which the fee is charged; and
WHEREAS, prior to approving said fee, the City Council has held at least one
public meeting at which oral or written presentations could be made concerning said proposed
fee as part of a regularly scheduled meeting of the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has heretofore complied with the applicable
requirements of Chapter 8 of Division 1 of Title 7 of the Government Code of the State of
California entitled Procedures for Adopting Various Fees; and
WHEREAS, the City Council further finds and determines that this amendment to
fee is exempt from the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act pursuant to
Section 21080(b) (8) of the California Public Resources Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim that the service fee for final maps to be charged and collected by the Public Works
Department of the City of Anaheim shall be as set forth in Exhibit A, which is attached hereto
and incorporated by reference herein.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the service fee for final maps established in
this resolution shall become effective on the sixtieth day following the date of adoption of this
Resolution, and shall supersede and rescind any other fee whensoever approved by the City
Council concerning the collection of the hereinabove specified fee in the Public Works
Department of the City of Anaheim.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the fee set forth in Resolution 2006-150 with
respect to the service fee for final maps is hereby superseded to the extent of any conflict with the
fee established herein and that except as otherwise specifically amended herein, all other fees set
forth in Resolution 2006-150 shall remain in full force and effect.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council
