63-0168WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did
heretofore, by resolution duly adopted on November 22, 1960,
authorize and direct the initiation of condemnation proceedings,
which resulted in the commencement of Orange County Superior
Court Case No. 94449, being entitled "City of Anaheim vs. A.
Anton, et al."; and
WHEREAS, Defendant Jesus Samarippa offered to sell and
convey a portion (owned by said defendant) of the property sought
to be condemned by the City to the City for the sum of $5,850.00;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council did on February 13, 1963,
adopt its Resolution No. 63R-127 finding and determining that
said offer was fair and reasonable and should be accepted and
said sum paid to said defendant upon receipt of a good and suffi-
cient deed conveying said property to the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, said defendant has this day submitted to the
City Council a Grant Deed conveying said real property to the
City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the Grant Deed this day submitted to
the City Council by Jesus Samarippa, a widow, granting to the
City the following described real property situated in the City
of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California:
Lot 30 in the Mary Goodman Tract, in the City
of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of Califor-
nia, as per map recorded in Book 7, Page 21 of
Miscellaneous Maps, in the Office of the County
Recorder of said County;
be and the same is hereby accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 5th day of March, 1963.
