WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for an under-
ground storm drain
RESOLUTION NO. 63R -109
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A CORPORATION GRANT
DEED CONVEYING TO THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASE-
MENT FOR AN UNDERGROUND STORM DRAIN.
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of IMPERIAL STATIONS, INC.,
a California corporation,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for an under
round storm drain
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for an underground storm drain over, under
and across a strip of land 5.00 feet in width, being a
portion of Lot Five of the Stockwell's Subdivision, as
shown on a Map recorded in Book 6, Page 10 of Miscel-
laneous Maps, records of Orange County, California,
the center line of said strip being described as
follows:
Beginning at a point in the East line of said Lot Five,
said East line being considered the center line of Ray-
mond Avenue, said point being 295.66 feet North of the
Southeast corner of said Lot Five; thence North 88 33'
54" West 280 feet, more or less, to the point of inter-
section with the Easterly line of that portion of land
conveyed to Orange County Flood Control Channel by deed
recorded June 9, 1960 in Book 5279, Page 363 of Offi-
cial Records.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM the Westerly 84.97 feet thereof.
ALSO EXCEPTING THEREFROM the Easterly 30.00 feet lying
within Raymond Avenue.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 13th day of February 1963
