A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT A
MAJORITY PROTEST HAS NOT BEEN MADE IN THE
PROCEEDINGS FOR THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN
INHABITED TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
KNOWN AND DESIGNATED AS YORBA LINDA ANNEXATION.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did
on the llth day of December, 1962, receive a written petition
asking that certain territory described in said petition be
annexed to the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did adopt Resolution No.
62R -1069, designating the said proposed annexation as YORBA
LINDA ANNEXATION; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did fix the 15th day of
January, 1963, at the hour of 7:00 P.M., at the City Council
Chamber in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim, as the day,
hour and place when and where the City Council would hear
protests made by the owner or owners of any real property
within the territory proposed to be annexed; and
WHEREAS, said hearing was held on said date and was
continued to the 18th day of January, 1963, at which time it
was found and determined that a majority protest had not
been made; and
WHEREAS, said hearing was then recessed for a period
of ten (10) days for the purpose of filing additional protests,
and such recessed hearing was set for the 29th day of January,
1963, at the hour of 3:00 P.M.; and
WHEREAS, said continued or recessed hearing on
protests was held on said date, and on February 5, 1963 the
City Clerk certified that a majority protest had not been
made.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
does find and declare that a majority protest has not been
made.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 5th day of February, 1963.

do hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution No. 63R -82 was
introduced and adopted at a regular meeting provided by law, of
the City Council of the City of Anaheim, held on the 5th day of
February, 1963, by the following vote of the members thereof:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Dutton, Chandler, Schutte, Krein and Coons
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN None
AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of
Anaheim approved and signed said Resolution No. 63R -82 on the
5th day of February; 1963.
