A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A DIRECTOR'S DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR MUNICIPAL PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim did heretofore by
Director's Deed executed by the State of California, Department
of Public Works, dated December 22, 1960, recorded April 11,
1961, in Book 5684, Page 490, Document No. 6195, in the Office
of the County Recorder of Orange County, acquire title to a
certain parcel of real property described in said deed; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did find that the property
which the State of California, Department of Public Works,
proposed to convey to the City of Anaheim was incorrectly
described in said deed; and
WHEREAS, the State of California, Department of Public
Works, has furnished a new deed with a correct description of
the property intended to be conveyed to the City, and the City
has executed and delivered to the State a quitclaim deed quit-
claiming all right, title and interest in and to the property
described in said Director's Deed dated December 22, 1960.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the new Director's Deed executed by
the State of California, Department of Public Works, dated
July 2, 1962, conveying the following described property
situated in the County of Orange, State of California, to wit:
That portion of the Southwest 1/4 of the Southwest 1/4
of Section 23, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, S.B.B.
M., described in the Certificate of Title No. 8276 on
file in the office of the Registrar of Titles of said
County, described as follows:
Beginning at a point in that certain course given, in
the description of Parcel 2 in a deed to the State of
California recorded August 26, 1940, in Book 1058,
page 188 of Official Records in the office of the County
Recorder of said County, as "along said Easterly line,
N. 0 15' 35" W., 400.80 feet," distant along said
certain course North 0 15' 35" West, 146.21 feet from
the Southerly terminus thereof, said point being in
the Easterly line of Haster Street, 60.00 feet wide,
and on a line perpendicular to the center line of
said Haster Street at a point distant along said center
line, North 0 15' 35" West, 684.45 feet from the
intersection of said center line with the center line
of Katella Avenue, 60.00 feet wide, said center lines
of Haster Street and Katella Avenue being the Westerly
and Southerly lines respectively of said Section 23;
thence continuing along said certain course,
North 0 15' 35" West, 120.65 feet to a curve, concave
Northeasterly and having a radius of 780.00 feet; thence
from a tangent, bearing South 48 19' 25" East, South-
easterly along said curve, through an angle of
3 35' 29 an arc distance of 48.89 feet; thence

South 9 07' 08" East, 29.00 feet; thence
South 34 24' 39" West, 73.55 feet to the point of
beginning.
EXCEPTING and RESERVING unto the State of California
any and all rights of ingress to or egress from the
real property herein conveyed to or from the freeway
constructed upon lands lying Northerly of said
real property; provided, however, that said real
property shall abut upon and have access to a
frontage road which will be connected with said
freeway only at such points as may be established
by public authority.
ALSO EXCEPTING THEREFROM all minerals, oils, gases
and other hydrocarbons by whatsoever name known, that
may be within or under the parcel of land hereinabove
described without, however, the right to drill, dig
or mine through the surface thereof.
to the City of Anaheim, be and the same is hereby accepted by
the City Council of the City of Anaheim, and that the City of
Anaheim accept a conveyance of said property.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 29th day of January 1963.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
