A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ESTABLISHING A "NO PARKING" ZONE
ON LINCOLN AVENUE IN THE VICINITY OF 2310-
2332 WEST LINCOLN AVENUE, ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA.

WHEREAS, a request has been made by Mr. Morris Carroll,
2332 West Lincoln Avenue, to restrict parking on Lincoln Avenue
in the vicinity of 2332 West Lincoln Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the Division of Highways of the State of
California has, by letter dated December 12, 1962, advised the
City Engineer that the results of its investigation indicate
that it would be desirable to prohibit parking on the south side
of Lincoln Avenue beginning at a point 275 feet west of the
center line of Monterey Street extended, and extending 800 feet
west thereof, or, in other words, from the east property line
of Gemco Department Store to approximately 142 feet west of the
west property line of said store; and
WHEREAS, Section 22506 of the Vehicle Code of the State
of California authorizes the City Council to restrict or prohibit
parking on a state highway if the resolution is first submitted
to and approved, in writing, by the Department of Public Works.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that parking be prohibited at all times on
the south side of Lincoln Avenue, beginning at a point 275 feet
west of the center line of Monterey Street extended, and extend-
ing 800 feet west thereof.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution shall go
into effect immediately upon atproval, in writing, by the Depart-
ment of Public Works of the State of California.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 8 th day of January, 1963.
