A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is desirous
of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for municipal
purposes, to wit. An easement for road and public utilit ur oses
and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property ha
and convey the same to the CI E7; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds that
it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim to ac-
cept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the offer of PETER M. ELLIOTT and BETTY JO ELLIOTT,
husband and wife, and FREDERICK C. HOWARD and JEANNE HOWARD husband and
wife
offered to sell
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Oraage, State of California,
to be used for an easement for road and public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under
and across that parcel of land described as follows:
The Easterly 45.00 feet (as measured along the center line of
Western Avenue) of the South half of the East half of the
Northeast quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section 14,
Township 4 South, Range 11 West, in the Rancho Los Coyotes, as
shown on a Map recorded in Book 51, pages 7 et seq., of
Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM the Southerly 483 feet thereof.
ALSO EXCEPTING THEREFROM the East 200.00 feet of the North
89.16 feet of the South 572.16 feet thereof.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance of said
property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City
of Anaheim be and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owners of
said real property, out of General Funds of the City of Anaheim,
the sum of One Dollar (1,00),
