A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A PERMIT SUBMITTED BY
THE ORANGE COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT TO
THE CITY TO INSTALL AND MAINTAIN A HIGH
VOLTAGE AERIAL CROSSING WITHIN SAID DISTRICT'S
RIGHT OF WAY OF THE CARBON CREEK CHANNEL
NORTHERLY OF LA PALMA AVENUE.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has heretofore made
application to the Orange County Flood Control District for
a permit to install and maintain a high voltage aerial crossing
within said District's right of way of the Carbon Creek Channel
northerly of La Palma Avenue; and
WHEREAS, Orange County Flood Control District has
submitted to the City Council a form of permit, numbered 24262,
to be accepted by the City of Anaheim offering to grant to the
City permission to install and maintain said high voltage aerial
crossing within said District's right of way of the Carbon Creek
Channel northerly of La Palma Avenue in accordance with a sketch
attached to said permit and to the satisfaction of said District's
inspector, and subject to the terms, covenants, conditions, and
agreements set forth in said permit to be kept, performed and
observed by the City, which permit the City Council finds would
be for the benefit and best interest of the City and should be
accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the permit of the Orange County Flood
Control District No. 24262, submitted to the City of Anaheim,
granting to the City permission to install and maintain a high
voltage aerial crossing within said District's right of way of
the Carbon Creek Channel northerly of La Palma Avenue in accord-
ance with a sketch attached to said permit and to the satisfaction
of said District's inspector, and subject to the terms, covenants,
conditions, and agreements set forth in said permit to be performed
and observed by the City of Anaheim, be, and the same is hereby,
accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City
Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized to accept said permit
for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
11th day of December, 1962.
