A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is desirous
of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for municipal
purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public :utility purposes;
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered to sell and
convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds that
it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim to
accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the offer of CHRISTIAN CENTER CHURCH OF ORANGE
COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, a corporation, to sell to the City of Anaheim
the following described real property situated in the City of Ana-
heim, County of Orange, State of California, to be used for an ease-
ment for road and public utility purposes, and more particularly
described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under
and across those portions of the South half of the Northwest
quarter of the Northwest quarter of the Southwest quarter of
Section 2, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho San Jua:
Cajon de Santa Ana, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 51,
page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, Cal-
ifornia, lying Northerly of Tract No. 2022, as shown on a
Map recorded in Book 58, pages 24 and 25 of Miscellaneous Maps,
records of said Orange County, described as follows:
PARCEL ONE: Beginning at the intersection of the center line
of Norwood Street and the Northerly boundary of Tract No. 2022,
as per map recorded in Book 58, pages 24 and 25 of Miscellaneous
Maps, records of said Orange County; thence South 89 59 50"
East along the Northerly boundary of Tract No 2022, a distance
of 19.00 feet; thence nth 0 43 00" West, parallel.`with the
center line of Nor eet, a distance of 0.01 feet to the
beginning of a tan.' t ve, concave Southeasterly and having
a radius of 11.00 ence Northeasterly along the arc
of said curve throj• ntral angle of 73° 56' 43" a dis-
tance of 14,10 feet '`to° "the beginning of a tangent curve, con-
cave Northwesterly, Westerly, Southwesterly, Southerly and
Southeasterly and having a radius of 36.00 feet; thence along
the arc of said curve through a central angle of 253 561 43"
a distance of 159.56 feet to a point of tangency with a line
which bears South 0 43 00" East, said line being parallel to
the Northerly prolongation of the center line of Norwood Street
and lying Westerly 19.00 feet distant therefrom measured at
right angles; thence South 0 431 00" East parallel with the
Northerly prolongation of the center line of Norwood Street
a distance of ))1.70 feet to the Northerly boundary of Tract
No. 2022, thence South 89° 591 50" East along the Northerly
boundary of Tract No. 2022, a distance of 19.00 feet to the
point of begiinning.
PARCEL TWO: Beginning at the intersection of the center
line of Candlewood Street and the Northerly boundary of
Tract No. 2022, as per map recorded in Book 58, pages 24
and 25 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County;
thence South 89° 59' 50" East along the Northerly boundary
of Tract No. 2022 a distance of 19.00 feet; thence North
0 43 00" West, parallel with the center line of Candle
wood Street a distance of 0.01 feet to the beginning of a
tangent curve, concave Southeasterly and having a radius
of 11.00 feet; thence Northeasterly along the arc of said
curve through a central angle of 73° 56' 43" a distance of
14.10 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve, concave
Northwesterly, Westerly, Southwesterly, Southerly, and
Southeasterly and having a radius of 36.00 feet; thence
along the arc of said curve through a central angle of
253° 561 43" a distance of 159.56 feet to a point of tan-
gency with a line which bears South 0 431 00" East, said
line being parallel to the Northerly prolongation of the
center line of Candlewood Street and lying Westerly 19.00
feet distant therefrom measured at right angles; thence
South 0 431 00" East parallel with the Northerly prolong-
ation of the center line of Norwood Street a distance of
44.70 feet to the Northerly boundary of Tract No. 2022;
thence South 89 59 50" East along the Northerly boundary
of Tract No. 2022 a distance of 19.00 feet to the point of
beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by .the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance
of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
