A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
OF AN INTERRUPTIBLE TRANSMISSION SERVICE
AGREEMENT WITH SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA EDISON
COMPANY AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
ANAHEIM UTILITIES DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE SAID
AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim desires to obtain from
Southern California Edison Company interruptible transmission
service (from Victorville -Lugo Interconnection) over Edison's
electrical transmission facilities; and
WHEREAS, an agreement entitled "Edison- Anaheim
Interruptible Transmission Service (from Victorville -Lugo
Interconnection) Agreement" (hereinafter Agreement) has been
prepared whereby Southern California Edison Company will provide
such service; and
WHEREAS, the terms and conditions of Agreement are
acceptable to the City Council of the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the terms and
conditions of said Agreement are hereby approved and accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Utilities Director
of the City of Anaheim be, and he is, hereby authorized and
directed to execute said Agreement on behalf of the City of
Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by
the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 18th day of
April f 1978.
