A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT WITH THE COUNTY OF
ORANGE FOR THE ACQUISITION OF CERTAIN TAX -
DEEDED PROPERTY AND DIRECTING PAYMENT THEREFOR.
WHEREAS, the Office of the Tax Collector - Treasurer
of the County of Orange has informed the City of Anaheim that
certain tax- deeded real property is available for purchase by
the City of Anaheim for $100.00; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of
Anaheim to purchase said property and to execute a certain
agreement with the Board of Supervisors in connection therewith.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the City of Anaheim does hereby offer
to purchase the property described in said agreement.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to execute
that certain agreement for the purchase of tax- deeded property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Finance Director be,
and he is hereby, authorized and directed to prepare a warrant
in the amount of $100.00 payable to the County of Orange as
payment for said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and
she is hereby, directed to forward five executed copies of said
agreement together with five certified copies of the Resolution
to the Tax Collector - Treasurer.
