A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF A1`1AHEIM DECLARING ITS IDI'.CENTION TO VACATE
AND ABANDON A CERTAIN PUBLIC ALLEN' A1VD FIXII~tG
A DATE FOR A HEARING THEREON.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does
hereby elect to proceed under the provisions of the Street Vaca-
tion Act of 1941 (Section 8300 et seq., Streets and Highway Code)
in connection with requests for vacation and abandonment of public
streets located within the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Anaheim does hereby declare its intention to vacate,
abandon and close to public use the following described alley,
to wit:
The easterly one-half of that certain unnamed alley
(20 feet in width), the centerline of which is paral-
lel to the centerline of Anaheim Boulevard and approxi-
mately 198 feet easterly thereof; said alley extending
from an unnamed alley on the north approximately 421
feet to an unnamed alley on the south; said alley is
located within the block bounded by Broadway, Anaheim
Boulevard , Lincoln Avenue and Claudina Street
(abandoned) ,
as said alley is shown on a map or plan on file in the Office of
the City Clerk of the City of Anaheim.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all persons interested in
or objecting to said vacation and abandonment will be heard at a
public hearing to be held at 3:00 o'clock P.M., or as soon there-
after as the matter may be heard, in the Council Chamber in t'ne
City Ha11, 204 East Lincoln Avenue, Anaheim, California, on:
March 21, 1978
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall certify
to the passage of this resolution and shall cause the same to be
published in the Anaheim Bulletin, a newspaper of general circula-
tion, printed, published and circulated in said City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City. of Anaheim this 28th day of Februa~r.Y..~.~
