A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ORDERING .THE. VACATION AND ABANDON-
MENT OF A CERTAIN PUBLIC SERVICE EASEMENT.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim has
elected to proceed pursuant to the provisions of .the Public
Services Easements Vacation Law (Section 50~f30 et secy., Government
Code) in connection with the vacation and abandonment of public
service easements; and
WHEREAS, the. City Council did, by resolution duly
posted and published, give notice of its intention to abandon
the following described public service easement (hereinafter
"Easement"), to wit:
"Those .certain public utility easements generally
described as follows:
A. Located on the east side of State College
Boulevard approximately 300 feet south. of
Ball Road and extending approximately. 160
feet east of State. College Boulevard.
B. Located on the south side of Ball Road
approximately 300 feet east of State College
Boulevard and extending approximately 160
feet south of Ball Road.
C. Located on the south side of Ball Road
approximately 450 feet east of State College
Boulevard and extending approximately 26.0
feet south. of Ball Road"; and
WHEREAS, on the 21st day of February,-1978, a public
hearing was held to allow interested persons to submit. evidence
concerning said proposed abandonment; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of. Anaheim does
find from the evidence submitted to it, that said Eastment is
unnecessary for present or prospective public use.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of Anaheim does hereby order the vacation and
abandonment of said Easement.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and
she is hereby, authorized and directed to cause a certified copy
of this Resolution and Order, attested by her under .the seal of
the City of Anaheim to be recorded in the. Office of the County
Recorder of Orange County, California.
