A RESOLUTION- OF THE CITY COUI~TCIL OF T~iE CITY
OF ANAHEIP•'I ORDERING THE VACATION AND ABANDOi~T-
N~NT OF A PORTIOI~I OF HANCOCi{ STREET. ( 77-2A)
WHEREAS, the City Council did, by resolution duly
posted and published, give notice of its intention to
vacate .and abandon a portion of Hancock Street, North of
La Palma Avenue; and
[~THEREAS, on the 21st day of February, 1978, a
public hearing was held to allow interested persons to sub-
mit evidence concerning said proposed abandonment; and
?~IiEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
does find, from the evidence submitted, that that portion
of l~iancock Street hereinafter specifically described, is
unnecessary for present or prospective public street purposes;
and
t~1HEREAS, the City Council. does determine that the
public convenience and necessity require the reservation
and exception of the easement(s) and right(s) of way also
hereinafter. specifically described.
NO?^?, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City
Council of the City of Anaheim does hereby order the
vacation and abandonment of gnat portion of Hancock Street
located generally 1lorth of La Palma Avenue described as
follows:
That portion of public right of way lying within
a portion of Hancock Street described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes
over, under and across that portion of public street
right of way, commonly known as Hancock Street,
described as follows:
Beginning at a point distant N 8g° 5q' 08" E,
1,123..78 feet;. N 00° 26' 56" W, 150.62 feet; N 76°
3g' 16" W, 30.54 feet; N 76° 40' 09° W, 2.41 feet
from the centerline intersection of La Palma Avenue
and Lakeview Avenue; thence N 76° 40' 09" W, 28.71
feet; thence N 08° 14' 06" E, 23.9.14 feet to a
point in a curve concave easterly and having a radius
of 632 feet., a radial line bearing Al 81° 45' S4" W
passes through said point; thence Southerly along
said curve through a central angle of 08" 41' 02" an
arc distance of 95.79 feet; thence S 00° 26' S6" E,
148.05 feet to the point of beginning.

AND 3E IT FURTHER RESOLVED that .the City Clerk be,
and she is hereby, .authorized and directed to cause a
certified copy of this Resolution and Order, attested by
her under the seal of the City. of Anaheim to be recorded in
the Office of the County Recorder of Orange County, California.
