A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY. COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE CONFLICT OF INTEREST
CODE OF THE ANAHEIM HOUSING AUTHORITY., .AND.
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY. CLERK TO EXECUTE
SAID CODE.
WHEREAS,-every governmental agency is required to
adopt and promulgate a Conflict of Interest Code pursuant
to Section 87300. of .the Government .Coale;. and
.WHEREAS, each agency is required to submit said
Code o a "code-reviewing body" for approval pursuant to
Section 8?3a3 of the Government Code; and
WHEREAS, the staff of the Fair Political Practices
Commission has determined and advised that the City Council
of the City of Anaheim is the. code-reviewing body for the
Anaheim Housing Authority; and
WHEREAS, the Anaheim Housing Authority. has, by
Resolution No. AHA78-5, adopted and .promulgated a Conflict
of Interest Code of the Anaheim Housing Authority ("Code");
and
WHEREAS, the Anaheim Housing Authority. has trans-
mitted said Code to the City Council of the City of Anaheim
for approval pursuant to Section 87303 of the Government
Code; and
WHEREAS, said Code is hereby determined to meet all
of the' requirements of Section 87302. of the Government .Code
pertaining to required provisions of a Conflict of Interes
Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that-it does. hereby approve the
Conflict of Interest .Code of the Anaheim Housing Authority
as adopted by Anaheim Housing Authority Resolution No. AHA78-5.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and
she is hereby, authorized and directed to transmit a certified
copy of this Resolution to the Anaheim Housing Authority.
