A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUlvCIL OF THE CI~i'Y
OF Ai~TAHEIM APPROVING THE COy1 LICT OF IJ`1'ER1-;ST
CODE OF r1'HE ANAHEIP+i REDEVELOPMEiJT AGENCY, AND
AUTI~ORIZIdG THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK `l'0 EXECUTE
SAID CODE.
WHEREAS, every governmental agency is required to
adopt and promulgate a Conflict of Interest Code pursuant
to Section 87300 of the Government Code; and
WHEREAS, each agency is required to submit said
Code to a "code-reviewing body" for approval pursuant to
Section 87303 of the Government Code; and
GIHEREAS, the staff of the Fair Political Practices
Commission has determined and advised that the City Council
of the City of Anaheim is the code-reviewing body for the
Anaheim Redevelopment Agency; and
j~?IiEREAS, the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency has, by
P~esolution No. ARA78- 29 , adopted and promulgated a
Conflict of Interest Code of the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency
("Code"); and
WHEREAS, the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency has
transmitted said Code to the City Council of the City of
Anaheim for approval pursuant to Section 87303 of the Govern-
ment Code; and
WHEREAS, said Code is hereby det4~rmined to meet all
of the requirements of Section 87302 of the Gov~rnrient Code
pertaining to required provisions of a Conflict of Interest
Code.
NOLd, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVI~D by tl~e City Council
of the City of Anaheim that it does hereby ap"drove the
Conflict of Interest Code of the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency
as adopted by Anaheim P~edevelopment Agency Resolution
No. ARA78- 29
BE IT nURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and
she is hereby, authorized. and directed to transmit a certified
copy of this Resolution to the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency.
