WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does
hereby elect to proceed under the provisions of the Street
Vacation Act of 1941 (Section 8300 et sea., Streets and Highway
Code) in connection with requests for vacation anc~ abanaoizr~lent
of public streets located within the City of Anaheim.
i~O[~?, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of Anaheim does hereby declare its intention to
vacate, abandon anu. close to public use the following described
street, to wit:
That triangularly shaped portion of Hancock Street,
located along the west sicze of Hancock Street com-
mencing at a point approximately 100 feet north of
La Palma Avenue and extending to a point approxi-
mately 300 feet northerly thereof,
as said street is shown on a map or plan on file in the Office of
the City Clerk of the City of Anaheim.
BE IT ~'URTH,R RESOLV.~D that all persons interested in
or objecting to said vacation and abandonment will be heard at a
public hearing to be held at 3:00 o'clock P.~~1., or as soon there-
after as the matter r~1ay be heard, in the Council Charnber in the
City Hall, 204 East Lincoln Avenue, Anaheim, Calirornia, on:
February 21, 1978
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Cleric shall certify
to the passage of this Resolution and shall cause the same to be
published in the Anaheirz Bulletin, a newspaper of general circula-
tion, printed, published and circulated in said City of Anan.eirn.
