A RESOLUTION? OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ORDERING THE VACATION AItiD ABP.NDON-
MEN^1 OF AN EASEI~TEi1T FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTIL-
ITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council did, by resolution duly posted
and published, give notice of its intention to vacate and abandon
Parry Avenue and certain unnamed public alleys located between
Romneya Drive and Anaheim Boulevard, west of Lemon Street; and
WHEREAS, on the 31st day of January, 1978, a public
hearing was held to allow interested persons to submit evidence
concerning said proposed abandonment; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does
find, from the evidence submitted, that Parry Avenue and said
unnamed public alleys, hereinafter specifically described, are un-
necessary for present or prospective public street purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Anaheim does hereby order the vacation and abandonment
of Parry Avenue and said public alleys described as follows:
That portion of a dedicated street commonly known as
Parry Avenue and those certain public alleys located
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California, described as follows:
PARCEL ONE: (Parry Avenue)
That portion of Parry Avenue lying within that portion
of Lot 15 Miles Rancho, as shown on a map recorded in
Book 4, page 7, Miscellaneous Maps, records of said
Orange County, also being a portion of the Map of the
Hart Subdivision, as shown on a map recorded in Book 7,
page 20, Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange
County, and also being a portion of the Mary A. Goodman
Tract, as shown on a rnap recorded in Book 7, page 21,
Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County,
being a strip of land 40 feet wide, lying parallel with
and 20 feet on each side of the following described cen-
terline:
Beginning at the centerline intersection of Romneya
Drive and Parry Avenue, as shown on the map of said
--, Mary A. Goodman Tract and said Hart Subdivision ri2ap;
thence S 00° 00' 1/2" Vd, 806.12 feet to an intersection
with the centerline of Los Angeles Street, as the in-
tersection is shown on said Tract Maps.

Excepting therefrom the northerly 32.00 feet thereof
lying within Romneya Drive on the north. Also except-
ing therefrom the southerly 167.00 feet as measured
along said centerline to an intersection with the cen-
terline of said Los Angeles Street.
PARCEL TWO:
Those certain strips of land 15 feet wide and 20 feet
wide commonly known as public alleys both shown on the
Map of Mary A. Goodman Tract, as shown on a map recorded
in Book 7, page 21, Miscellaneous Maps, records of said
Orange County, described as follows:
Beginning at the southwest corner of Lot I5 in said
Mary A. Goodman Tract; thence N 89° 57' E, 274.02 feet
along the southerly line of Lots 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 and
2D all in said Mary A. Goodman Tract to the southeast
corner of said Lot 20; thence S 00° 00' 1/2" W, 15 feet
to the northeast corner of Lot 21 in said tract; thence
S 89° 57' W, 127 feet to the northwest corner of said
Lot 21; thence S 00° 00' 1/2" W, 420.29 feet to the
southwest corner of Lot 31 of said Tract; thence N 50°
02' W, 23.33 feet to the southeast corner of Lot 7 in
said Tract; thence N 00° 00' 1/2" E, 408.27 feet to the
northeast corner of Lot 14 in said Tract; thence S 89°
57' W, 127 feet to the northwest corner of said Lot 14;
thence N 00° 00' 1/2" E, 15 feet to the point of begin-
ning.
Excepting therefrom the most southerly 5 feet thereof
lying between the west line of said Lot 31 and the east
line of said Lot 7.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and
she is hereby, authorized and directed to cause a certified copy
of this Resolution and Order, attested by her under the seal of
the City of Anaheim to be recorded in the Office of the County
Recorder of Orange County, California.
