A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE ANNEXATION TO THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM OF THE TERRTTORY KNOWN AND DESIGNATED
ANAHEIM HILLS ANNEXATION N0. 22.
WHEREAS, said Local Agency Formation Commission
authorized the City of Anaheim to annex said territory with-
out notice and hearing and without an election pursuant to
the authority vested in said Commission by Section 54797.1
of the Government Code; and
WHEREAS, said territory proposed to be annexed to
said City of Anaheim is situated in the County of Orange,
State of California, and is contiguous to the City of Anaheim,
and is uninhabited territory. That said consent contained a
description of said territory in words and figures as herein-
after in this resolution described; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
authorized to approve said annexation by resolution without
notice and hearing pursuant to the approval of said Local
Agency Formation Commission and Section 54797.1 of the Govern-
ment Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of Anaheim finds:
That the City of Anaheim submitted proof satisfactory
to the Local Agency Formation Commission that all of the owners
of land within the territory proposed to be annexed have given
their signed consent to such annexation. That said territory
proposed to be annexed to said City of Anaheim is situated in
the County of Orange, State of California, and is contiguous
to the City of Anaheim, and is uninhabited territory. That
said consent signed by all of the owners of land within the ter-
ritory proposed to be annexed contained a description of said
territory in words and figures as hereinafter in this resolu-
tion described.
That the City of Anaheim filed said request to annex
said territory, containing the specific boundaries of the ter-
ritory to be annexed, with the Local Agency Formation Commis-
sion and said Local Agency Formation Commission approved said
annexation request of the City of Anaheim pursuant to Section
54797.1 of the Government Code.
That on the 23rd day of November 1977 ,

Anaheim to annex said territory in accordance with Section
54797.1 of the Government Code and further approved such
annexation of said territory without notice or hearing.

That the Local Agency Formation Commission further
by resolution, authorized the City Council of the City of
Anaheim to annex said territory without notice or hearing by
the City Council and without the requirement that an election
be held by the City on the question of said annexation.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the annexation of the
territory included within the boundaries of the ANAHEIM
HILLS ANNEXATION N0. 22 more particu ar y

That parcel of land located in the County of Orange, State
of California, described as follows:
Beginning at an angle point in the existing City Limit Line
of the City of Anaheim, as established by Anaheim Hills
Annexation No. 11 to the City of Anaheim, said angle point
being the Southeasterly terminus of that certain course de-
scribed in said Anaheim Hills Annexation No. 11 as having a
bearing of North 15°.30' 00" West and a length of 451.00
feet; thence along the existing boundary line of the City of
Anaheim as created by the following Annexations, Anaheim
Hills No. 11, Anaheim Hills No. 1, Walnut Canyon, Anaheim
Hi11s No. 6, Anaheim Hills No. 21, through its various
courses in a general Northwesterly, Southwesterly, Northwest-
erly, Northeasterly, Northwesterly, Southwesterly, and North-
erly direction to the City boundary as established by Anaheim
Hills Annexation No. 18; thence along the City boundary as
established by Anaheim Hills Annexation No. 18, South 69°
05' 26" West, 419.00 feet; thence leaving said City boundary,
South 32°~2Z' 43" East, 1325.53 feet to the Northerly City
Limit Line of the City of Orange as established by City of
Orange Annexation No. 216; thence along the City Limit Line
of the City of Orange South 89°~13' 18" East, $38.25 feet
and South 0°~43' S1" West, 339.52 .feet; thence leaving the
boundary established by said Annexation No. 216, South 64°
24' 00" East, 209.00 feet; thence South 79°~13` 00" East,
501.50 feet; thence South 43° 25' 00" East, 204.00 feet;
thence South 77°~.30` 00" East, 156.50 feet; thence North 73°
49' 00" East, 416.50 feet; thence 12° 52' 00" East, 179.50
feet; thence South 20°~00' 00''East, 94.00 feet; thence South
54° 35' 00"'East, 736.00 feet; thence North 73° 06` 00" East,
536.00 feet; thence North 49°~13' 00" East, 511.00 feet;

Containing an area of 264.164 acres more or less.

is hereby approved and said territory is hereby annexed to
and incorporated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California,,and is hereby designated as the ANAHEIM
HILLS ANNEXATION N0. 22 to the-City of Anaheim.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that from and after the date
of .the adoption of this resolution and the filing of a certi-
fied copy thereof with the Secretary of State of the State of
California, the annexation of the territory herein described
shall be deemed to be and shall be complete and thenceforth
such annexed territory shall be, to all intents and purposes,
a part of the City of Anaheim, and from and after the effec-
tive date of such annexation, all property therein shall be
subject to taxation equally with the property within the City
of Anaheim and shall be taxed to pay its. proportionate share
of the existing indebtedness and liability of .said City of
Anaheim contracted prior to or existing at the time of such
annexation pursuant to the written consent of the owners of
property in said annexed territory filed with the Clerk of
the City of Anaheim prior to the adoption of this resolution.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by
the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 1_ day of
