parcel of land conveyed to Fred O. Thor;pson and

request on December 5, 1977, notices of whic'==~ said public hearing
were duly given as required by law and the provisions of y'itle 18,
Chapter 18.76 of the Anaheim I~Iunicipal Coc.ie; anc:

r~1T-iEP.EAS, said Commission, after due inspection, investi-
gation and studies made by itself and in its behalf and after due
consideration of all evidence and reports offered at said hearing,
did adopt its Resolution Tdo. PC77-278 denying Conditional Use
Permit loo. 1782; and
""""'° Tr7:rIEREAS , thereafter, within tvaenty-two ( 22 ) days from
the date of the adoption of said resolution, a written apLaeal was
filed with the City Council protesting the action of the City Plan--.
Wing Commission in denying said Conditional Use Permit and said
appeal was set for public hearing on January 17, 1978, at the City
Hall, in the City of Anaheim, and notices of such public hearing
were duly given as required by lacMT and the provisions of Title 18,
Chapter 18.76 of the Anaheim P~unicipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the tirze and place fixed f'or said public
hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such hearing
and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be
heard and did receive evidence and reports; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find, after careful con-
sideration of the recommendations of the City Planning Cozlrr~ission
and all evidence and reports offered at said hearing, that Condi-
tional Use Permit No. 1782 should be denied.
NOW, THEREFORE, ~3E IT P.ESOLVE£3 by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the action of the City Planning
Commission denying Conditional Use Permit Trio. 1782 be, and the
same is hereby, affirmed and that the request cf ALiaEP.`1' D:~~ Ts~=~SCIJ
