ti~JHEREAS, the City of Anaheim desires and proposes
to undertake a certain public project, to wit: construction
of concrete walks around new restroom building at Rio Vista
Park within the City of Anaheim; and
T~~JI~EREAS, the total cost of said project will be
less than Ten Thousand Dollars (.10,000.00); and
T~~iEREAS, Section 1211 of the Charter of. the City
of Anaheim authorizes the City to perform. such work with City
employees or to purchase such materials or supplies in the
open marltet without competitive bidding where the City
Cauncil declares and determines by resolution that, in its
opinion, said work may be perforr~~ed better or more econom-
ically by the City with its oT,~rn employees, or that the
materials or supplies may be purchased at a lay-aer price irr
the open market; and
j;THEREAS, the City Council does hereby declare and
determine that, in its opinion, based up an the information
and evidence presented to the City Council relating; to the
aforesaid public project, the work in question may be performed
better or mare econorr~ically by the City with its o~~rn employees,
and/or the materials or supplies may be purchased at a lower
price in the open market.

of tine City of Anaheim that the City of Anaheim shall under-
ta1Le and accomplish the aforesaid public project by perforrriing
said work with its own employees and/or purchasing said
materials or supplies in the open rnarliet without competitive
bidding; therefor.
