A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
OF AN N- IE`dDI ENT TO AGREEMENT WITH EMIGDIO C.
VASQUEZ IN CONNECTION WITH THE YOUTH MURALS
PROJECT AND AUTHORIZING THE •3AYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim and Emiadio C. Vasquez
entered into an agreement for the employment of an instructor to
train and supervise young people participating in the Youth Murals
Project funded with Community Development Block Grant funds dated
November 22, 1977, pursuant to Resolution No. 77R -751; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said agreement, the hours worked
per week were limited to fifteen (15) and the maximum number of
hours for which compensation was paid was six hundred ( 600), and
the agreement shall terminate at 12:00 midnight on June 30, 1979;
and
WHEREAS, it is the mutual desire of the parties to amend
said agreement by modifying the hours per week to a minimum of
fifteen (15), and increasing the maximum hours for which salary
will be paid to one thousand (1,000), and extending the term
thereof one (1) year; and
WHEREAS, such amendments are acceptable to the City
Council of the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the terms and condi-
tions of an Amendment to Agreement between the City of Anaheim
and Emigdio C. Vasquez modifying the hours per week, the maximum
number of hours for which compensation will be paid and extending
the terms thereof one (1) year are hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
are hereby authorized to execute said Amendment to Agreement for
and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 27th day of June ,
