A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM REJECTING ALL BIDS RECEIVED UP TO
THE HOUR OF 2:00 P.M. ON MAY.11, 1978, FOR
THE CONVENTION CENTER EAST PARKING LOT
MODIFICATIONS, ACCOUNT NO. 38 -4855- 985 -20 -0893.
WHEREAS, heretofore, to wit, on the llth day of
April,. 1978, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did
adopt Resolution No. 78R -226 finding and determining that
public convenience and necessity required the modification
of the Convention Center East Parking Lot; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did authorize and
direct the City Clerk to publish a notice according to
law inviting sealed proposals for the above- mentioned
public improvement and fixing the llth day of May, 1978,
at the hour of 2:00 p.m. as the date and hour for the
opening of said bids in the Council Chamber in the City Hall,
in the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the City Council now finds that due to
budgetary reasons it is for the benefit and the best interest
of the City of Anaheim to reject all bids received on the
llth day of May, 1978.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that said bids received up to the
hour of 2:00 p.m. on the llth day of May, 1978, reviewed by
the City Engineer, and submitted to the City Council on
June 13, 1978, for the Convention Center East Parking Lot
Modifications, Account No. 38- 4855 - 985 -20 -0893 be, and the
same are hereby, rejected.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted
by the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 13th day of
June, 1978.
