A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
AND LOUIS HENNIG, INC. DBA HENNIG AUTO PAINT
AND BODY COMPANY, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT.
WHEREAS, the State of California is the owner of
certain real property located within the City of Anaheim
and has heretofore offered to sell said property to the
City; and
WHEREAS, said property is located contiguous to,
and between, certain real property owned by the City and
Louis Hennig, Inc. dba Hennig Auto Paint and Body Company
(hereinafter "Hennig "); and
WHEREAS, Hennig has indicated a desire to purchase
said State -owned property in the event said property is not
purchased by the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim and Hennig desire to
establish by agreement the respective rights and duties to
the prospective purchase of said property by Hennig; and
WHEREAS, an agreement has been prepared, the terms
and conditions of which are satisfactory to the City of
Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the terms and conditions of an
agreement between the City of Anaheim and Louis Hennig, Inc.
dba Hennig Auto Paint and Body Company, be, and the same are
hereby, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to execute
said agreement for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by
the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 13th day of
