A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE ACQUISITION OF CERTAIN
STATE OF CALIFORNIA OWNED REAL PROPERTY LOCATED
.. GENERALLY NORTH OF BALL ROAD ADJACENT TO CITRON
PARK AT NO COST TO THE CITY AND AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A LETTER
AGREEMENT FOR THE ACQUISITION OF SAID PROPERTY.
WHEREAS, the State of California owns certain real
property consisting of approximately O.011 acres of land
north of Ball Road and adjacent to Citron Park; and
WHEREAS, said real property can most effectively be
used by the City of Anaheim for park and municipal purposes;
and
WHEREAS, a letter agreement has been submitted wherein
the City could acquire the property at no cost by executing said
letter agreement and forwarding to the Department of Transportation
of the State of California; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City of
Anaheim to approve the letter agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the letter agreement dated May 9, 1978,
from the Department of Transportation of the State of California
be and the same is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
are hereby authorized to execute said letter agreement for and
on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and
the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 6th
June , 1978.
