A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ORDERING THE VACATION AND ABANDON-
„- MENT OF A PORTION OF OAK STREET EXTENDING
GENERALLY FROM HARBOR BOULEVARD TO A POINT
APPROXIMATELY 180 FEET EASTERLY THEREOF.
WHEREAS, the City Council did, by resolution duly
posted and published, give notice of its intention to vacate
and abandon a portion of Oak Street, east of Harbor Boulevard;
and
WHEREAS, on the 30th day of May, 1978, a public
hearing was held to allow interested persons to submit evidence
concerning said proposed abandonment; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
does find, from the evidence submitted, that that portion of
Oak Street, hereinafter specifically described, is unnecessary
for present or prospective public street purposes; and
.WHEREAS, the City Council does determine that the
public convenience and necessity require the reservation and
exception of the easement(s) and right(s) of way also herein-
after specifically described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of Anaheim does hereby order the vacation and
abandonment of that portion of Oak Street located generally
easterly of Harbor Boulevard, described as follows:
That portion of dedicated public right of way,
commonly known as Oak Street, 50 feet wide,
located in the City of Anaheim, County of
Orange, State of California, lying within Block
E -5 in the Langenberger Tract, as shown on a
map recorded in Book 1, pages 550 and 551,
Miscellaneous Maps, in the office of the County
Recorder of Los Angeles County, described as
follows:
Beginning at a point in the southerly line of
said Oak Street, said point being distant 179.86
feet measured N 75 28 03 E along said souther-
ly line from the northwesterly corner of Lot 33
in said Block E -5; thence along said southerly
line S 75 28 03" W, 140.14 feet to a point on
• non - tangent curve concave westerly and having
• radius of 2,055.00 feet, a radial line bearing
N 77 06 46 E passes through said point; thence

Northerly along said curve through a central
angle of 1 32' 30" an arc distance of 55.29 feet
to an intersection with a line parallel with and
25 feet northerly of the centerline of said Oak
Street; thence Easterly along said parallel line
a distance of 179.50 feet to an intersection with
the easterly line of Lot 16 in Block E -5, said
Langenberger Tract; thence Southerly 50 feet,
more or less, along the southerly prolongation of
the easterly line of said Lot 16 to an intersec-
tion with a line parallel with and 25 feet
southerly of the centerline of said Oak Street;
thence Westerly 39.36 feet, more or less, along
the last mentioned parallel line to the point of
beginning.
Reserving therefrom unto the City of Anaheim an
easement for sanitary sewer purposes together with
all reasonable right of ingress and egress over,
under and across a strip of land 15 feet wide
lying parallel with and 7.50 feet on each side of
the centerline of said Oak Street, 50.00 feet wide.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be,
and she is hereby, authorized and directed to cause a certi-
fied copy of this Resolution and Order, attested by her under
the seal of the City of Anaheim to be recorded in the Office
of the County Recorder of Orange County, California.
