A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
OF AN AGREEMENT WITH VTN CONSOLIDATED, INC.,
AS CONSULTING ENGINEER, TO PROVIDE SERVICES
REQUIRED FOR UNDERGROUND ELECTRICAL UTILITIES
WITHIN THE PROJECT ALPHA AREA AND AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID AGREE-
MENT ON `BEHALF OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is in need of a
consulting engineer to perform the design, engineering and
construction phase services for underground electrical utili-
ties within the Project Alpha area of Anaheim generally
bounded by Cypress Street on the north, Olive Street on the
east, Broadway on the south and Harbor Boulevard on the west.
In addition, the area of the City described will be the
Lincoln Avenue realignment from Janss Street to Harbor Boulevard
and Olive Street to East Street; and
WHEREAS, VTN Consolidated, Inc., is qualified to
perform said engineering services; and
WHEREAS, an agreement has been prepared whereby
VTN Consolidated, Inc., will provide such engineering services;
and
WHEREAS, the terms and conditions of said agreement
are acceptable to the City Council of the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the terms and
conditions of said agreement are hereby approved and accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
be, and they are hereby, authorized to execute said agreement
on behalf of the City Council of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by
the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 2 3rd day of
May s 1978.
