A RESOLUTIO1 OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEI14 APPROVING THE REQUEST OF THE BUENA
PARK LIBRARY DISTRICT FOR MEMBERSHIP IN THE
SANTIAGO LIBRARY SYSTEM.
WHEREAS, the City Council did authorize the City Library
to join the Santiago Library System by Resolution No. 72R -424; and
WHEREAS, the Joint Powers Agreement of said Santiago
Library System requires the approval of a majority of the members
of said system for the inclusion of new members in said system;
and
WHEREAS, the Buena Park Library District has requested
membership in the Santiago Library System by Resolution dated
April 17, 1978; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of said library
system to have as many libraries in the system as possible.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the request by the Buena Park Library
District contained in its Resolution of April 17, 1978, to join
the Santiago Library System be, and the same is hereby, approved.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 16th day of May ,
1978.
