A RE-SOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE
AND ABANDON A CERTAIN PUBLIC STREET A11D FIX-
ING A DATE FOR A HEARING THEREON.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does
hereby elect to proceed under the provisions of the Street Vaca-
tion Act of 1941 (Section 8300 et seq., Streets and Highway Code)
in connection with requests for vacation and abandonment of pub-
lic streets located within the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Anaheim does hereby declare its intention to vacate,
abandon and close to public use the following described street,
to wit:
That portion of Oak Street extending from a point
approximately seventy -five (75) feet east of the
centerline of Harbor Boulevard to a point approxi-
mately one hundred forty (140) feet west of the
centerline of Helena Street,
as said street is shown on a map or plan on file in the Office
of the City Clerk of the City of Anaheim.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that these proceedings are under-
taken subject to the following reservations and exceptions in
favor of the following persons or parties:
Reserving unto. the City of Anaheim an easement for
sanitary sewer purposes, fifteen (15) feet in width,
the centerline of said easement corresponding to
the centerline of Oak Street.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all persons interested in
or objecting to said vacation and abandonment will be heard at a
public hearing to be held at 3:00 o'clock P.M., or as soon there-
after as the matter may be heard, in the Council Chamber in the
City Hall, 204 East Lincoln Avenue, Anaheim, California, on:
May 30, 1978
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall certify
to the passage of this resolution and shall cause the same to be
published in the Anaheim Bulletin, a newspaper of general circula-
tion, printed, published and circulated in said City of Anaheim.
