A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ORDERING THE VACATION AND ABANDON-
MENT OF AN UNNAMED PUBLIC ALLEY LOCATED WITHIN
THE BLOCK FOR14ED BY LINCOLN AVENUE, PHILADELPHIA
STREET, BROADWAY AND CLAUDINA STREET (ABANDONED).
WHEREAS, the City Council did, by resolution duly
posted and published, give notice of its intention to vacate
and abandon an unnamed public alley (20.feet in width)
located approximately 185 feet west of the centerline of
Philadelphia Street extending from a point approximately
180 feet south of the centerline of Lincoln Avenue to a point
approximately 213 feet north of the centerline of Broadway;
and
WHEREAS, on the 9th day of May, 1978, a public
hearing was held to allow interested persons to submit evidence
concerning said proposed abandonment; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
does find, from the evidence submitted, that said alley here-
inafter specifically described, is unnecessary for present or
prospective public street purposes; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of Anaheim does hereby order the vacation and
abandonment of that public alley described as follows:
That certain public alley located in the City
of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
described as follows:
That certain 20 -foot wide alley including the four
angle corner cut offs at each intersection running
north and south lying between Claudina and Philadel-
phia Streets lying within Block B of the Center
Tract, as shown on a map recorded in Book 14, Page
13, Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, as
shown on the map attached hereto and made a part
hereof.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be,
and she is hereby, authorized and directed to cause a certi-
fied copy of this Resolution and Order, attested by her under
the seal of the City of Anaheim to be recorded in the Office
of the County Recorder of Orange County, California.
