A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETER7INIIAG THAT THERE
WERE NO BIDS RECEIVED ON THE LA PALMA AVENUE
SEWER IMPROVEMENT EAST OF BLUE GUM STREET,
ACCOUNT NO. 11 -4309- 720 -16 -0000.
WHEREAS, on the 4th day of April, 1978, Resolution
No. 78R -208 was adopted by the City Council finding and
determining that public convenience and necessity required
the improvement and completion of the La Palma Avenue Sewer
Improvement, East of Blue Gum Street, Account
No. 11 -430 720 -16 -0000; and
11HEREAS, said Resolution No. 78R -208 did set the
27th day of April, 1978, at the hour of 2:00 o'clock P.M. as
the date and hour for the opening of said bids; and
tiIEREAS, it has come to the attention of the City
Council that no bids were received for the above - mentioned
public improvement; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineering- Division has
recommended that this work be re- advertised at a later date;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
finds that it is in the best interest of the City to re-
advertise the opening of said bids for the La Palma Avenue
Sewer Improvement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that Resolution No. 78R -208 adopted
on the 4th day of April, 1973, for the La Palma Avenue Sewer
Improvement be, and the same is hereby, rejected and that
said public improvement be re- advertised as recommended by
the City Engineering Division.
